Ar-Rahmān Ar-Raheem ye dono lafz ek hi lafz Rehem se bane haiñ aur Allah ta'ala ki sifāt yāni attributes haiñ. Rahman ka matlab hai bohot raham karne wala aur Raheem ka matlab hai baar baar rehem karne wala. Yaad rahe ki Arabi zubaan me jo ism (noun) bhi Rahman ke wazan pe aata hai wo bohtaat (abundance) ka meaning deta hai jaise Rahman ka matlab yahan par hai bohot ziyada rehem karne wala. Aur Raheem ke wazan pe jo bhi ism aata hai wo takraar (repetition) ka meaning deta hai jaise Reheem ka matlab yahan par hai baar baar rehem karne wala. Maulana Ameen Ahsan Islahi tafseer Tadabbur-e-Qura'an mein likhte hain ki in me se ek lafz rehmat ke josh-o-kharosh ko zaahir karta hai aur dusra rehmat ke musalsal hone ka izhaar hai. Alhamdu lillahi rabbil aalameen Kuch mufassirīn (Scholars of Tafsīr) kā mānna hai kī ye sūrat FātiHa kī pehlī āyat hai hālanki dūsre scholars ka mānna hai ki 'Basmalaah' yāni 'Bismillah ar-rahman ar-raheem' sūrat FātiHa ki pehlī āyat hai. Although dono arguements ke sahi hone ke sabūt maujūd haiñ. Ustaadh Nouman Ali Khan iske zimn me apne ek lecture series  Al-Fatiha: A Deeper Look mein kehte hain ki suurat FatiHa Alhamdulillahi rabbil aalameen se shuru hoti hai is arguement ka subūt wo ek hadees qudsi hai jisme Allah taala farmate hain ki maine sūrat-al-FaitiHa ko do hisso meiñ bāñta hai, to ādha hissā mere liye hai aur ādhā hissā mere bande ke liye hai aur mere bande ko wahi kuch milega jo wo mañgega. Suurat Faatiha ka Usluub-e-Bayaan (Writing Style)

  Duniya mein jiti bhi Aasmaani kitaaein naazil huii hain sab ka Usluub-e-Bayaan (Writing Style) aasaan aur mukhtasar (precise) raha hai. Yaani Allah taala ne jab bhi Insaan ko hidaayaat (guidance) bheji to us mein koi nayi (new) baat naazil nahi ki jo samjhne ke qaabil na ho ya ye ki bohot kam log usko samjh payein. Balki baat aasaan alfaaz aur seedhe andaaz mein bayaan hui hai. Taaki zyada se zyada log us se istifaada (benefit) uthaa sakein.  Maulana Azad apni kitaab Umm-al-Kitaab: Tafseer Suurat Faatiha mein likhte hain "Ye baat yaad rakhni chaahiye ki duniyaa mein jo baat haqeeqat se jitni zyada qareeb hogi utni hi zyada sahal (aasaan) aur dil-nasheen (attractive) hogi. Uljhao jitna bhi hoga sab banaawat aur takalluf mein hoga." Agarche (although) puura Quraan hi aasaan aur mukhtasar hai lekin khusuusan (specially) Suurat Faatiha ek aisi suurat hai jisme mukhtasar aur aasaan alfaaz mein Islam ke bunyaadi (basic) concepts ko waazeh kar diya gaya.

Suurat Faatiha ki Ahmiyyat (Importance)

Suurat ko Faatihat-al-Kitaab bhi kaha jaata hai. Jiska matlab hai The Opening of the Book (Quraan). Agarche naazil hone wali sabse pehli suurat Al-Alaq thi lekin kyunki ise Allah ke hukum se sequence mein sab se pehle rakha gaya hai isliye Quraan ki sab se pehli suurat yahi maani jaati hai. Maulana Abul Kalam Azad apni kitaab Umm-al-Quraan Tafseer Surat Faatiha mein likhte hain " Jo baat ahem hoti hai wo tarteeb(sequence) mein Qudrati taur par sabse pehle rakhi jaati hai aur Suurat Faatiha kyunki tarteeb mein sabse pehle aati hai isse bhi is suurat ki ahmiyyat ka pata chalta hai.  Arab ke logon ka ye riwaaj (culture) raha hai ki wo jisko bhi zyada pasand karte usko ek se zyada naamon se pukaara karte the. Misaal ke liye: Ghoda (Horse), jo arbon ke yahan pasandeeda jaanwar hai uske liye arabi zaban mein Faras, Hisaan aur Khayl jese alfaaz aate hain. Isi tarah Suurat Faatiha ke bhi ek se zyada naam maujuud hain. Un mein se kuch hain: Umm-al-Quraan, Asaas-al-Quraan, Al-Shaafiya, Al-K...
